Taking America Back - One Court Case at a Time

When our great republic was formed over 200 years ago, our founding fathers took great care to protect it against capture.  They did this through a clear separation of powers between three branches of government, each with different roles, responsibilities, and term limits:

The Three Branches of Government

Executive Branch
(runs the government)

President, Attorney General, Regulatory Agencies, etc.

Legislative Branch
(writes the laws)

Senators, Congressmen

Judicial Branch
(interprets the law)

Supreme Court, Federal Judges

The founding fathers' great fear was capture of the minority by the majority.  Ironically, today the real problem is exactly the opposite -- it's one of capture of the 99% by the 1%.  Corporate power and influence, combined with media driven elections, have rendered the 99% practically helpless against the corruption that exists today:

Executive Branch

Sold to the Highest Bidder !

Legislative Branch

Bought and Paid For !!

Judicial Branch

Still Hope ???

The courts are the one place where there still exists some chance of a fair result for the 99%, against the power and influence of the 1%.  Occupy The Courts is a people-powered movement to bring court cases against corporate power and government abuse, and is an extension of the Occupy Wall Street movement that began on September 17, 2011 in Liberty Square in Manhattan's Financial District.
